Making composite steel higher strength and higher ductility via introducing carbon diffusion strategy
نویسندگان
چکیده
Researchers have always aimed to break the trade-off relationship between strength and ductility. In this study, a carbon diffusion strategy was provided improve ductility of composite martensite steel simultaneously, as well increase uniform by 190%. The process strengthens without losing hardening ability austenite constituents brings in substantial transition layer. This can also be applied other alloys with light elements, thus providing pathway for making high-strength high-ductility materials.

Schools of business can benefit from adoption of geographic information systems (GIS). A brief overview of GIS technology is presented along with an example showcasing how it can be presented in a business school. GIS benefits for business schools, their students, and faculty are discussed. A comprehensive approach for promoting such spatial thinking is presented. The goal is to empower faculty...
متن کاملOn Introducing Higher Order Functions in ABEL
We discuss how the 1'st order speci cation and programming language ABEL could be extended with higher order functions. Several issues arise, related to subtyping, parameterization, strictness of generators and de ned functions, and to the choice between lambda expressions and currying. The paper can be regarded as an exercise in language design: how to introduce higher order functions under th...

The objective of this paper is to provide a review of the Direct Strength Method for coldformed steel design. The Direct Strength Method was formally adopted in North American design specifications in 2004 as an alternative to the traditional Effective Width Method. The appendix of this paper provides an excerpt from the North American Specification which provides the Direct Strength Method equ...
متن کاملIntroducing an algal carbon‐concentrating mechanism into higher plants: location and incorporation of key components
Many eukaryotic green algae possess biophysical carbon-concentrating mechanisms (CCMs) that enhance photosynthetic efficiency and thus permit high growth rates at low CO2 concentrations. They are thus an attractive option for improving productivity in higher plants. In this study, the intracellular locations of ten CCM components in the unicellular green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii were conf...
